When you go inside malls here you’ll see booths like the ones in this pic. This one actually only has a few. Takashimaya has a lot. These booths are adorned with lanterns and other autumn stuff but are actually selling mooncakes in beautiful packaging.

Mooncakes here go from typical flavors to special ones with egg yolks or other stuff. However, they’re quite pricey (for me). The plain one I ate earlier tasted like the diced mongo hopia back home. Sunny Sweets tasted better for me. That’s for the plain one huh. The special ones do taste good.

  1. Alam mo sis, never pa ko nakatikim ng mooncake. Sabi nila try ko kaso kasi ok na ko sa hopia kaya ayaw ko na mag-try ng iba.

  2. Late na, pero happy mooncake festival!

@Dianne: Okay naman ang mooncake. Pero hindi lahat masarap. Depende kung saan gawa. :)

  3. Yep. Yung mamahalin talaga masarap. :-)
