Pageants
Ever since I can remember I have been watching Miss Universe pageants. If I can’t watch it on tv then I have to rely on other means. I remembered I was absent for one day during my practicum time just to watch Miss U at home.
These days I can’t watch because of work. Thanks to technology I can get updates while on the go. Since last year my updates all came from Twitter.
But here in our flat nobody can beat Rica. She’s very, very familiar with pageant history, who won, which year, what were the contestants’ answers…
Congratulations to Miss Angola!!! I believe she’s the first from her country.
Congratulations also to our own delegate: Shamcey Supsup for being 3rd Runner Up. We’re very proud of yah!
I just wanna add that I hope those related nega posts or what ifs about anything Miss U today will stop soon. We’re not doing ourselves any favor. Instead it shows us as bitter losers. In fact we still won, yeah its not the crown but what we got is already good. Reading posts from other nationalities I got the feeling most are really in favor of the actual winner.
May nagci-circulate ngayon na parang comment ni Oprah on NBC. Pag hinanap mo naman yung actual comment, wala haha Dun sa comment na yun, sinabi daw niya na dapat si Ms. Phils ang nanalo. Eh doubt ako kung sinabi niya yun kasi di nga makita yung original text haha
Di ko na naabutan to dahil sa kapeng ininom ko haha Late na ko nakatulog, pag gising ko, our Miss Universe is Ms. Angola na naabutan ko hahahaha
Although of course being a proud Filipina, I rooted for Shamcey. Pero there was something with Miss Angola when I saw her picked as one of the top 16 pa lang, sana nga sila 2 sa top 2 na lang

Haha. Dito wala silang paki. Yung mga tweets majority yata galing sa mga Pinoy.
